Since the beginning of May, our OWA brand has obtained Nordic ecolabel certification for 44 new TONER references. ARMOR Print Solutions has a real desire to commit to a more sustainable future by doing its bit to protect the environment, and eventually wants to certify 100% of the LASER and COPYER toner range for the OWA brand. New references will therefore be certified in the coming months and on an ongoing basis.
What is the Nordic Ecolabel?
The Nordic Ecolabel, also known as the "Swan label", is an environmental certification scheme which guarantees that labelled products and services comply with rigorous ecological criteria and meet strict environmental impact standards throughout their life cycle. The label was introduced in the Nordic countries in the 1980s and is now widely recognised in Scandinavia.
It covers a wide range of products, including everyday consumer goods, chemicals, household appliances, construction products, foodstuffs and many others. This label enables consumers to make more sustainable choices and to support companies committed to protecting the environment.
How can I obtain the Nordic Ecolabel?
To obtain Nordic Ecolabel certification, products must comply with a set of strict criteria established by the Nordic Council of Ministers. These criteria are based on scientific studies and environmental considerations such as energy consumption, CO2 emissions, use of harmful substances, waste management, use of natural resources, etc. Companies must apply for certification, provide detailed information about their product and undergo regular audits to maintain their certified status.

We have various ecolabels or other certifications with different meanings. Notably for our OWA brand, since 2018 we have obtained NF Environnement certification (French Environment Standard), which certifies products with a reduced impact on the environment compared to similar products on the market.
We are also Qualicert certified. ARMOR Print Solutions is the only player on the market to have certified its collection, sorting and recovery process for laser print cartridges, as well as the production and distribution of remanufactured print cartridges. We care about the quality of our products at every level. This label is formal proof that we give 100% value to our products.
