With this large format range, the manufacturer is expanding its range of printing consumables for professionals.
ARMOR Print Solutions is expanding its range of plotters and wide format printers with ten new inkjet cartridge references compatible with Roland DG and Mimaki OEM equipment. These new additions complete the range of around one hundred references compatible with large format plotters and printers from the main OEMs on the European market (Canon, HP, EPSON, etc.). These semi-industrial quality inks (dye, pigmented, latex, eco-solvent and UV), available in up to twelve colours and in average 500ml containers, are aimed at large format printers specialising in reprographics, photography, poster and exhibition graphics and architectural drawings.
"When we launched this range five years ago, it was primarily in response to one-off requests from our long-standing customers who were familiar with our products. customers who were familiar with our expertise in semi-industrial inks. Over the years, the range has grown to include around a hundred references for wide format inkjet cartridges. We are convinced of the market's potential and that's why we are aiming to double our large format range by 2024," comments Marie Plissonneau, Category Manager at ARMOR Print Solutions. Manager at ARMOR Print Solutions.
Backed by ARMOR GROUP's century-long expertise in ink formulation, ARMOR Print Solutions has a solid know-how in the development and distribution of semi-industrial inks on the European market. With a laboratory in Dortmund (Germany) and an ink production plant in Prudnik (Poland), both certified to industrial quality standards (ISO 9001, 14001, ISO 22000) and REACH and CLP compliant, ARMOR Print Solutions guarantees its customers high quality inks made in Europe.
"We apply the same rigorous standards derived from our industrial expertise to our wide format ink solutions to guarantee our customers reliable, high quality compatible cartridges. To protect large format printing equipment, which on average costs several thousand euros, we ensure the compatibility of our OWA inks with the printheads through a series of tests. We also modify the chip in our cartridges so that users can manage ink levels as they would with new, original consumables," adds Joël Bitschnau, Director of Operations at ARM. ARMOR printing solutions in Poland.
The development strategy for the wide format range reflects the European ambitions of ARMOR Print Solutions. Against a backdrop of market restructuring and the withdrawal of certain players, this pioneer of the circular economy is betting on growth and accelerating the development of its technical printing solutions, which it also offers on a customised basis.
"Listening carefully to our customers to understand the performance they require is essential when designing customised semi-industrial inks. We have become experts at analysing the interdependencies of the factors at play in our customers' production tools. Wide format printing is very demanding in terms of applications and also opens up a vast field of possibilities in terms of formulations. Plotters and wide format printers have infinitely configurable print profiles. This is an opportunity for ARMOR Print Solutions to demonstrate its long-standing expertise in ink formulation," concludes Joël Bitschnau of ARMOR Print Solutions.
